Support Marlborough: Shop Local, Resist Locally
Our movement is only as strong as the community that sustains it. As we organize for justice, we also organize for our local economy. We encourage all supporters to keep their resources right here in Marlborough:
Main Street Over Wall Street: Buy your rally supplies, posters, and snacks from our local independent shops.
Eat Local: After the event, gather with fellow organizers at Marlborough’s family-owned restaurants and cafes.
Invest in Each Other: By supporting local businesses, we ensure our community has the economic resilience to continue the fight for the long haul.
When we support each other, we build a foundation that no administration can tear down.
Our Commitment to Peaceful Action
The power of our movement lies in our discipline and our unity. A core principle of all No Kings events is a total commitment to nonviolent action.
De-escalate: We expect all participants to actively de-escalate any potential confrontations with those who disagree with our values.
Act Lawfully: We honor our community by acting lawfully at all times during our events.
Safety First: To ensure a safe environment for families and neighbors, weapons of any kind—including those legally permitted—are strictly prohibited.
Ways You Can Get Involved
We’re looking for a few more passionate people to help make this event as loud and impactful as possible. If you’re ready to jump in, we need:
Audio Support: Help us keep the energy up by providing or operating a speaker for music.
Spirit Leaders: Bring your voice! We need leaders to kick off our songs and lead the chants.
The Beat: Keep us moving by taking command of the barrel drums.
Ready to get involved? send us an email letting us know which role has your name on it!
Learn Our Protest Songs and Chants
Music is the ultimate de-escalator. It builds a wall of sound that protects our community and unites our voices in the face of injustice.
Build Unity: Find your harmony in the crowd.
De-escalate: Use rhythm to keep the peace and stay focused.
Persist: Keep the energy high when the day gets long.
Every day of action needs a heartbeat. Help us provide it by learning the chants and choruses that have fueled our struggle for generations.
No Kings Marlborough:
Defending Our Community
What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has grown into a sustained local resistance. Here in Marlborough, we have joined a national movement of neighbors, families, and friends determined to defend our democracy against tyranny. From our local squares to the heart of the city, we are standing firm for our community.
When our families are under attack and the cost of living is pushing neighbors to the brink, silence is a luxury we cannot afford. No Kings Marlborough exists to defend our residents against injustice and to ensure that the voices of the people are never silenced by the few.
On March 28th, we rise up. We take to the streets to say it loud: No thrones, no crowns, no kings. We aren’t just watching history happen—right here in Marlborough, we are making it. Join us.
